is that hope I see?

I may have found a fix! (how long it lasts is another question though)

I ended up snooping around all of the max help files and came across one about bitmap proxy files so I followed the instructions and after two attempts it seems to have worked. hope it holds out.

Here is what I have so far.

Almost there now, I just hope that I can get it done in time for the hand in.
