Frank update

Hi guys.
I have been working on Frank today and I am quite happy with the results.

Here is what I had earlier today.

I then worked into what I already had, using reference all along, and this is what I have now.
Please ignore the feet, hands and head. They are just placeholders for my own reference.

The model is currently in 3 parts. Legs, Jacket and shirt/tie(a.k.a. chest)

I am actually having great fun making this model which I think is impotrant. Because I am relaxed, I think I am getting better results.
I need to add some more things but I think I will take the model into mudbox for a quick normal map test and see how it goes.

I like it very much. especially the tie and collar.
is the jacket attached to the body underneath? maybe you could have the edges on his gut that are nearest to the tie pulled out a little to add some more depth to it. but he looks super :)

No the jacket isnt attached. I did originaly model a rough body then start to build a jacket around it but realised that it was wrong. So I started again, this time making the whole body, then extruding the suit and detaching it. This seemed to work out much better. The shirt is slightly wider than the gap you can see, but doesnt go all the way round or anything since it will never be seen.
